GTA V is still in that odd but lively place where Story Mode, GTA Online, and the newer PC build all sit side by side. If you're logging in during late May 2026, the real action is in GTA Online, where weekly rotations keep giving players reasons to check Maze Bank, the LS Car Meet, and the casino wheel. Players chasing upgrades, businesses, or simply more GTA 5 Money will notice that the best value right now comes from free claims and bonus weeks rather than a paid DLC drop. Rockstar's newer feature upgrades remain tied to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and upgraded PC, so older platforms don't get every perk.
Money Fronts is the main focus right now
The May 28 to June 3 event week is built around Money Fronts. The standout offer is Higgins Helitours, which is listed as free during the week instead of its usual GTA$900,000 price. There's a catch, though. You need to own the Hands On Car Wash first, because that business acts as the gateway to Higgins Helitours and Smoke on the Water. Once you've got the car wash, you can open Maze Bank Foreclosures, pick Higgins Helitours, and complete the purchase while the price shows as free. A GTA$10,000 interior tint is optional, so don't click through too quickly if you're trying to save every dollar.
What players should actually do this week
The Weekly Challenge asks players to complete three Hands On Car Wash Legal Missions for GTA$100,000. That's simple enough, and it also fits the Money Fronts system, where legal work helps cool down Heat while the shady side keeps paying. The Fine Art File is also listed as the FIB Priority File with double rewards. Some players are talking about 4x Money Laundering Missions and 5x Lamar Contact Missions, but those numbers haven't been backed by a solid official source in the provided material. Treat them as chatter until Rockstar or a trusted weekly listing confirms them.
Cars, rewards, and the usual weekly temptation
The Salvage Yard rotation includes The Duggan Robbery with the Toundra Panthere, The Cargo Ship Robbery with the Albany V-STR, and The Podium Robbery with the Willard Eudora. That doesn't automatically mean you can keep them, so it's worth checking in-game before planning around a personal vehicle claim. Over at the casino, the Lucky Wheel podium car is the Lampadati Komoda. GTA+ members also get an extra Lucky Wheel spin each week from this point, according to current event coverage. At the LS Car Meet, the Prize Ride is the Truffade Nero, earned by placing top two in an LS Car Meet Race for two days in a row.
Keep the hype in check
The previous May 21 to May 27 Motor Madness week was much cleaner in terms of confirmed details, with 2x payouts on LS Car Meet races, 5x Reputation, 2x Auto Shop Robbery Contracts, and plenty of discounts. This newer week has good freebies, but a few claims are still floating around without firm proof. The same goes for the rumored June 11 summer DLC, possible law enforcement content, and talk about a new heist. If you're planning purchases or looking at GTA 5 Money for sale because a big update might be close, it's smarter to wait for official wording before spending hard-earned cash.
